Sewn Project #3 and Apple Picking

Todays sewn project is a fantastic repurpose project! I took a Toms shoe bag and made this cute little travel bag for a friend of mine

I absolutely love this! I made a pair of these for a friend of mine as a bridal shower gift for her and her soon to be hubby. Since then, Ive been collecting these bags from my friends and making a ton. Pretty sure these will go up on Etsy in The Little Willow Tree shop. What do you guys think?

Also, today Bry and I went to a local place called Slo Creek Farms and went apple picking with friends! We also picked some gorgeous flowers. It was a whole lot of fun. Admittedly, Ive never done anything like that before but I sure am gonna start. It was ridiculously cheap as well and they had a whole lot more than just apples and flowers. They had tons of veggies and herbs, too. We will be going back very soon to raid their veggies and herbs as well as picking out of first fall pumpkin! I am so excited to go back.

After we picked the apples and flowers, we headed over to their picnic area and enjoyed some nice food. They had picnic tables and a nice large grassy area with huge hula hoops to use! We ate and played tag with friends and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine!

If you’ve never been apple picking, then I suggest you do. It will be a basket of fun!
